The Beautify Malawi (BEAM) Trust officially unveiled its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe — a high-profile ceremony presided over by the State President, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter in BEAM Trust's mission to transform Malawi.
The five-year plan — titled "Building a Beautiful, Dignified, and Prosperous Malawi" — sets out an ambitious agenda across four strategic pillars: school hygiene and sanitation, girls' secondary education, reforestation and environmental beautification, and community health outreach. It aligns directly with the Malawi 2063 national development agenda.
"Malawi's beauty is not only in its landscapes or its lakes. It is in the dignity of its people. This plan is our commitment — to every girl who deserves an education, every family that deserves clean water, and every community that deserves a healthy environment."
— Patron, BEAM Trust Malawi
The Four Strategic Pillars
The 2026–2030 plan is structured around four interconnected areas of impact, each with measurable targets, dedicated budgets, and clear accountability mechanisms.
A Plan Built on Evidence
The strategic plan was developed over 18 months through a consultative process involving over 200 community groups, 47 district councils, 12 government ministries, and a technical advisory panel. Field assessments were conducted in all 28 districts to ensure that targets reflect real community needs.
"This is not a plan written in offices in Lilongwe. It was written in the villages of Nsanje, in the schools of Mzimba, and in the homes of every Malawian who dared to imagine something better."
— Executive Director, BEAM Trust
Financing the Vision
The total budget is estimated at K7.6 billion, to be raised through corporate partnerships, government co-funding, and international development grants. NBS Bank and FDH Bank reaffirmed multi-year commitments at the launch, while the Chinese Chambers of Commerce pledged K200 million toward reforestation.

- FDH Bank — K500 million for girls' education bursaries
- Chinese Chambers of Commerce — K200 million for reforestation
