First Lady of Malawi Her Excellency Prof. Gertrude Mutharika, hosted the scorchers at Kamuzu Palace on their return from Women Africa Cup of Nations WAFCON as a special recognition for their excellent performance when the girls set the African continent ablaze at a time when nobody expected it. Further more, making it to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final was a dream, one that has redefined our vision for football in Malawi.

Thank you SOCRCHERS for the hard work on the pitch and for representing 22 million Malawians whose flag you carried selflessly.
